TRUCKADS® Offers Free Market Population Demographics

McLean, VA (July 17, 2014) - Today, TRUCKADS® began allowing free access to all 210 of its U.S. Designated Market Demographic files to online visitors. For each of the media markets we display online, website visitors can now download PDF demographic files at no charge. Each data file (U.S. Census records) is grouped by a cluster of counties that make up a media market and includes housing data and population data by county and then as a summary total for the media market. Population data is broken out by sex, ethnicity, age and total population.

Before making this change, TRUCKADS® searched the internet for FREE U.S. Census based demographics grouped by designated media markets and found none available. However, we discovered sources that offered this data for a fee. We determined that offering this data for free would provide a needed service to media buyers and advertisers and help promote TRUCKADS® and the truckside advertising industry.
