Radio One Delivers
Blankets for the Homeless
in Washington, DC

McLean, VA (February 15, 2003) - TruckAds® was recently retained as a truckside media provider by Radio One in Washington, DC. In addition to the Out-of-Home AD campaign utilizing truckside ADS to promote WKYS, the trucks performed double duty. The drivers were assigned to pick up blankets for the homeless at remote radio broadcast locations during the campaign.

According to a WKYS spokesperson, "Blankets for the Homeless was a big success and 100's of blankets were collected to help people in need." WKYS chose TruckAds ® Super Side AD and Wrap Around AD Programs for their AD campaign, which was also declared a big success.
