2. What
businesses benefit most by using truckside advertising and/or mobile
billboards?
Many types of businesses advertise on trucks and benefit from this highly
visible exposure. However, businesses that offer consumer oriented products
and services and sell to the public in general, benefit most from truckside
advertising.
See partial list.

3. What
type of truck companies are in TRUCK ADSŪ network?
Small and large
carriers have
joined our network of carriers. The carriers must have excellent equipment
and make local deliveries in specified
U.S. Media Markets or make
long haul trips with semi-trailers, delivering goods within a specific
region and/or all over the country. We also employ mobile billboard
companies who own "A" frame mobile billboards, trivision trucks and
video trucks.

4. What
do TRUCK ADSŪ trucks look like?
TRUCK ADSŪ
trucks are typical all-white straight
trucks or box trucks and all-white semi-trailers, as shown below. We
also use video trucks, "A" frame mobile billboards, tri vision trucks
and elevating billboards. All trucks are in excellent condition and
are washed regularly.

5. Where
do the trucks travel on a daily basis?
Local delivery trucks usually travel within
U.S. Media Market Areas.
It is possible to target specific zip codes within a media market when using
mobile billboards, but not with delivery trucks. Long haul semi-trailers
travel on interstate highways and within specific media markets. Most semi-trailers
travel across multiple media markets.

6. What
days of the week are the trucks on the road?
Most trucks travel Monday thru Friday and some truck companies run their
fleet Monday thru Saturday. Long haul semi-trailers often run six and
seven days a week and end up totaling 25-28 days per month.

7. What
type of graphic files does an advertiser need to provide when they contract
with TRUCK ADSŪ to do truckside advertising?
Advertisers need to provide a
digital graphic file. If an advertiser
wants to do it themselves, they can by ordering a
banner and frame direct from our E-Store for
your truck, bus, wall or billboard.

8. How
soon can my TRUCK ADSŪ be on the road?
When you purchase
banners and frames from the
TRUCK
ADS E-Store, it takes about 5 business days to proof, print
and ship your order. If you are contracting with
TRUCK ADS MEDIA,
the amount of time before your AD hits the road, can vary from 1-2 months,
based on size of the AD campaign (number of trucks) and whether it is
a single or multi-market campaign. See
Completion Process.

9. Can
advertisers designate where the truck travels?
With a dedicated
mobile billboard the advertiser dictates
the routes traveled. We can target any event or neighborhood. With ADS
on
delivery trucks we target
Broadcast Market Areas. Delivery trucks used in your
truck side advertising campaign, can also be used during "off hours"
to target specific events or locations. Truck side advertising is more
long term (2-12 months or more), while mobile billboards last a few
days or weeks.

10. Can
I rent a truck with a truck side sign on it for a day, week or a month
and have you park it for the length of the contract?
Yes. You may be required to obtain permits or permission to have the
truck parked in a specific location.

11. How
many visual impressions (total numbers) does a truck get?
This is another way of asking, how many people will see my AD? It depends
on where the truck is traveling and where the AD is located on the truck.
Generally speaking, the number of
impressions per day average 44,000
for ADS located on the driver's side in a major metro area (top 50
AD Markets) or on interstate highways. TRUCK ADSŪ truckside advertising
on the back side of the truck average 32,000 impressions and the same
AD on all 3 sides of a truck average 66,000 impressions per day.

12. How
many trucks are needed to have a successful campaign?
If you improve sales because of an AD campaign and your costs don't
exceed your profit, then most would consider it a success. How successful
depends on your expectations. In most major media markets if you put
4 ADS on the road, you will reach 3 to 10% of the market per day.

13. How
long has truckside advertising been in existence?
It is the oldest form of mobile advertising in existence today. Dating
back to the first trucks making deliveries in New York. The oldest known
TRUCK SIDE AD was photographed in 1912. Today there is a strong resurgence
in placing ADS on trucks due to improved signage technology and the
realization ADS on trucks are
more visible and dynamic than ADS on
buses or static billboards.

14. How
big are the trucks?
The trucks vary in size. Available space ranges from 8' high x 16' to
26' long on local delivery straight trucks, 8' high x 43' to 53' long
on Semi trailers, 8' high x 16' long, up to 10' high x 22' long on "A"
frame mobile billboards, 60" high x 84" long, up to 77" high x 95" long
on video trucks, 10' high x 22' long on elevating billboards, 72" high
x 108" long, up to 84" high x 144" long on tri-vision trucks and 6'
high x 10' long on the sides and 6' high x 6' long on the back of scrolling
mobile billboard trucks.

15. Where
can I advertise?
Almost anywhere. TRUCK ADSŪ Network reaches many
U.S. Media Markets.
You can also advertise with
TRUCK ADSŪ
MEDIA on straight trucks
in local markets and semi-trailers traveling interstate highways throughout
North America.

16. Where
can I find a mobile billboard truck to buy?
Go to our
billboard truck manufacturers page
and you'll find contact information about mobile billboard trucks for
sale.

17. Do
I need graphics for my advertisement?
For mobile advertising that is easy to answer. Graphics definitely help
attract attention. Truck side ADS should first attract attention and
then offer a simple and clearly written message. A graphic helps attract
attention and is therefore a worthwhile addition.

18. What
can I advertise?
TRUCK ADSŪ accepts advertising for most products and services. We promote
most businesses and reserve the right to refuse advertising on the side
of our trucks that are deemed in non-compliance with our advertising
guidelines and community standards. See
Terms and Conditions for further details.

19. What
if I am an individual and want to sell just one item?
Personal items such as the family farm or an antique car are examples
of items sold by individuals using truckside advertising. If you own
your own truck or have a friend
or acquaintance who owns trucks, a
Truck Side AD is a great way to sell
one item because 1000's of people will see it everyday. A 6 month AD
campaign will create approximately 5,808,000 impressions in a major
market. It's hard not to sell an item after that many people have
seen it.

20. What
if I have a business and don't have a website?
It is a good idea to have a website, if you have a business and want
to advertise. A website is like a telephone or a yellow page AD, it
is a tool for potential customers to get to know you before they buy
from you. Even if you don't have a website, as long as you have a business
phone number you can advertise outdoors. If you really want to be effective
with outdoor advertising, think about getting a toll free vanity number.
The easier it is to remember your phone number, the more people will
call you.

21. What
kind of material is used for my AD?
TRUCK ADSŪ signage vinyl is made from 3MŪ, AveryŪ and other quality
manufacturer's. Inks are guaranteed for 2 years. Vinyl banners used
with TRUCK ADS FRAME KITS is a heavy duty 12 ounce vinyl with scrim.
For best wear and longevity, order banners with UV Laminate.

22. Do
I need to hire an Ad Agency before I advertise?
No, however a good graphic artist is worth their weight in gold. They
understand the power of a well placed word. If you buy
banners and frames, you only need a
graphic artist. Your AD should be easy to read with 7 or fewer words,
so people (in traffic) can read it quickly. Most advertisers should
hire a graphic artist to do a TRUCK SIDE GRAPHIC AD.

23. Are
my TRUCK ADSŪ banners and frames guaranteed?
We cannot guarantee how successful your AD will be, however, we guarantee
the
banner ink for 2 years and we also
guarantee your banner will be clearly and professionally printed. All
TRUCK ADSŪ Frame Kits come with a
lifetime
limited warranty.

24. If
I hire TRUCK ADSŪ to place my media on a truck, how will I know where
it is going on a daily basis?
These days it is all done by GPS. Every day you can go online and see
where each of your ADS were traveling each day during the life of your
AD campaign. You will learn how many
impressions your AD generated, where
your AD traveled and how many days it was on the road.

25. What
if the truck breaks down and my TRUCK ADSŪ are not on the road for a
while?
This seldom happens, however we will notify you if a truck with your
AD is sidelined. When the truck is up and running again, we will continue
the AD campaign beyond the stop date in order to make up for any time
lost.

26. How long has TRUCK ADSŪ been in business?
The principals
have been in business since 1978. In 1991, the company explored the
idea of offering truckside advertising and in 1996, with the introduction
of new signage materials, it began the process of becoming a truckside
advertising company and offering ADS on trucks.
Today, TRUCK ADS, LLC is doing business as TRUCK ADSŪ and provides advertising
on straight trucks, semi-trailers, video trucks, mobile billboards,
trivision trucks, scrolling billboard trucks and elevating billboard
trucks throughout the US. We also engage in printing and providing installation
services for customers who buy banners and frames for their trucks.

27. Is
it possible to advertise my own business on a truck and not use a 3rd
party broker like TRUCK ADSŪ?
Yes. It is
possible and smart. It will reduce the cost for the best priced outdoor
advertising available today. Start up companies, entrepreneur's and
established local businesses have found working directly with a carrier
works and saves money.
THE PROCESS
IS EASY
Think about
where you want to advertise. In other words, what
U.S. Media Market or individual city you want to target. Once
you determine this, the next step is to find a carrier.
If you know
someone who owns a truck or trucks, this is one way to find a truck.
If you don't know anyone who owns a delivery truck(s), then look around
and contact a local delivery company that you have seen on the streets,
in your media
